General strike in France – 5th July

We would like to inform you that labour unions have announced plans to hold another national general strike on Tuesday, July 5.

Impact and info

At the moment it is unclear how large of an impact the mobilisation will have. Travel disruptions could affect:

Ø Aviation

Ø Rail

Ø Public Transport

Ø Road traffic: Marches with the potential to cause traffic congestion are also to be anticipated, particularly in Paris.

The travellers are encouraged to check the status of flight and rail reservation (on the airport/airline website or train provider website).
