We would like to inform you that labour unions have called to a national general strike in France on Tuesday, 28th June, that will cause disruptions to transports.

Impact and info

The following areas will be directly impacted:

-      Aviation: Air traffic controllers will take part beginning at 7:00 pm (local time) today, Monday, June 27, until 6:00 am on Wednesday, June 29. According to Eurocontrol, it is unclear how air services will be impacted by the strike and no airlines have been asked to modify flight programs. However, some flight delays are likely and cancellations are possible, including at airports in Toulouse (TLS), Paris-Orly (ORY), Lyon (LYS), Montpellier (MPL), Nice (NCE) and Bordeaux (BOD).

-      Rail: rail traffic is not expected to be affected on a national scale, although local movements cannot be ruled out.

-      Public Transport: Public transit is set to be disrupted in Dijon, Dunkirk, Nice and Reims.

-      Road traffic: demonstrations and traffic jams are likely in major French cities, especially in Paris.
