Major winter storm East
Coast USA - travel disruptions
We would like to inform
you that, as reported by the US National Weather Service, a
major winter storm is expected from today until 24th January
on the East Coast of the United States causing great
transports disruptions.
Impact and info
The most impacted States
are: Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine,
Maryland, Massachusetts, New England, New Jersey, New York,
Rhode Island, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia.
The flights from major
airports in the area are subject to delays and massive
cancellations, particularly in Boston, New York, Baltimore,
Philadelphia and Washington.
Due to heavy snowfall
also road traffic may be altered and dangerous: it is
recommended to use alternative means of transport for long
journeys.
