Enhanced security procedures at Italian airports. Longer check times

 

The National Civil Aviation Authority ordered the raising of security measures at all Italian airports and implemented more national security activities.

The operations are taking place without particular difficulties, but the waiting time at the check in and security control are longer in consideration of the additional steps required by the stronger security measures.

Therefore, passengers departing from Italian airports are advised to get to the airport well ahead of normal required time (in particular for international and intercontinental fights).
