Strike of Lufthansa pilots on 8th September 2015 – long-haul flights

 

We would like to inform you that the union Cockpit has announced a strike of Lufthansa pilots on long-haul flights for 8th September, from 08:00 o’clock to 24:00 o’clock.

Affected dates, times and routes

Cancellations and delays of Lufthansa long-haul departing from Germany are very likely to occur.

Flight backlogs are possible on other airlines also accommodating Lufthansa passengers, and lingering disruptions may occur after the work stoppage ends.

Some Lufthansa flights departing other airports could be delayed or rescheduled also on 9th September, as the airline may be unable to reposition planes.

 

Germanwings flights should be regular.

 

Additional labor actions are possible.
