We would like to inform you that, according to Eurocontrol (European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation), the upcoming French air traffic controller strike will begin at 6:00 am (local time) on Tuesday 30th June, and last until 6:00 am on the 4th July.

Affected dates, times and routes

This industrial action has the potential to severely disrupt air travel throughout French airspace; flight delays and cancellations - particularly affecting domestic and short-haul flights - are to be anticipated.

As was the case during previous ATC strikes, the French civil aviation authorities (DGAC) may ask airlines to reduce their flight schedules by up to 50% at various airports in the country, including in Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Nice and Toulouse. Residual disruptions are also possible throughout the day of 4th July as airlines clear flight backlogs.

More information about the upcoming strike will be release by the ATC Union next Monday, 29th June.

The travellers are encouraged to:

- Check your travel itinerary and the status of your flight.

- Keep up to date by the news on the media for updated information in the next days.

CWT offices are available for further needs.

Best Regards,
