National rail transport
strike in Italy
We would like to inform
you that, as announced by the ORSA union, it has been
called a national strike of Italian rail transport for
tomorrow, the 16th June, from 9:01 a.m. to 16:59
p.m.
which will affect Trenitalia, NTV and Trenord.
Affected dates, times
and routes
The strike will affect drivers,
on-board personnel and ticket agents
and will cause significant disruptions.
Trenitalia will
guarantee the long-distance
and high-speed trains
published in the list.
All trains with departure
time before the strike and with arrival within one hour
after the beginning
of the strike will also be guaranteed.
As regard to regional
transport the strike has been called
out from warranty hours so there are not trains
guaranteed.
The travellers are
encouraged to:
- Check the status of
your train on the website of the railway companies:
Trenitalia, NTV and Trenord.
- Keep up to date by
the news on the media for updated information in the next
hours.
