Rome Fiumicino Airport reduces operations
As reported by the Aeroporti di Roma Company, we
would inform you that the
Rome Fiumicino Airport will gradually reduce its
operations from 00:01 am of Saturday, June 13,
particularly in Terminal 3, due to management difficulties
related to the fire of Terminal 3 occurred on 7th May.
Affected dates, times and routes
The operations of the airport should decrease
from 80% guaranteed in recent weeks to 60%. The airlines were asked to reduce by 40% their
flights, trying to further ensure the long-haul.
Cancellations and delays are very likely.
Terminal 3 will be gradually closed
and all operations related to the departures will
be operated only from Terminal 1.
It is still
not clear when the operations will fully recover, but
it could takes several days/weeks.
The travellers are encouraged to:
-
Check the status of your flight on the airline's
website and/or on the Fiumicino Airport website.
- Contact their CWT service team to
rebook or cancel affected connections.
CWT offices are available for further needs.
