General strike in Italy - 18th October
General strike public sector in France – 15th October
We wish to
inform you that some Italian unions (Usb, Cobas, Cub, Usb Work
Private, Cub Transport) have called for a 24-hour general strike in Italy in the public
and private sector (transport included) on Friday, 18th
October.
In detail: - workers of air transport sector will strike 24 hours; - the personnel of SEA
and SEA Handling Milan Linate and Malpensa airports will strike for 24 hours; - Alitalia
CityLiner pilots will
strike for 24 hours; - ENAV air traffic controllers will strike from 13 to 17; - workers of rail
transport will strike from
21 p.m. of the 17/10 to 21 of 18/10; - local public transport workers could strike in some city with local
schedules.

Milan Public Transport (24-hours, but with operational guarantees before 8.45 a.m. and from 3 to 6 p.m.);

Italo rails;
Trenord rails (operating also Malpensa Express) (24-hours from 21.00 hrs of 17/10 to 21 hrs of 18/10, operational guarantees between 6 and 9 a.m. and between 6 to 9 p.m.);
For today, 15th
October due to nationwide
public sector strike in France a limited flight
disruption could take place. It is advisable to check the
status of your flight.
