AQUILEIA and GRADO on Saturday 27 March (afternoon)

AQUILEIA is one of the most interesting sites in the Region, an ancient marshland settlement, with a 700-year Roman period dating back to 181 B.C. There are old Roman mosaics in the Basilica and old Roman ruins spread out in a lovely landscape.
The next stop will be in GRADO, a small town built on a lagoon with many historical connections with Venice and Aquileia.  The discounted contribution requested for the tour is only euro  5/head - payable when you sign up - with an optional extra 2.50 euro/head entrance ticket if you want to visit the crypt (payable on the spot on the day of the trip).

THE MEETING POINT with our English-speaking guide Ms Alessandra LODI is fixed at 13:30 in the main entrance of the Leonardo Building. Return time to Trieste will be at approximately 20:00.
