TIME!
IN
MUGGIA 11 - 16 February: There will be with all kinds of shows, live music,
dancing in and
around the city's main square, Piazza Marconi, starting today until 16
February.
There will a Carnival Parade with around 2000 participants in the
parade on

You can reach Muggia by
bus n. 20. On Sat 13 and Tuesday 16 Feb bus 20 will
be running regularly until 21:30 and there will
be special return buses from 23:30 until 05:00. On Sunday 14 Feb, bus
20 will
run regularly all day until midnight and there will be mini-shuttle
buses from
the "Molo Balota" parking area to the city center starting starting

TRIESTE
is also celebrating carnival with parades, shows, live music, kiosks
and all
sorts of entertainments mainly in Piazza
Ponte Rosso
and Piazza Unità. There will be a Carnival Parade on Tuesday at 14:00
leaving
from Piazza Oberdan through the city's main streets ending in Piazza Unità where there will be a concert
with the local

will also be a parade in Opicina on Sat 13 at
14:00.

MONFALCONE has the biggest parade of the area
with about 3000 participants! You

MUSIC
The Tartini Music Conservatory in via Ghega offers a series of free concerts every Wednesday night at 20:30. You have to telephone the Conservatory the day before in the morning (tel: 040 6724911) before each concert (i.e. Tuesday) to reserve a place. Please be there half an hour before the show. "Valentine's Day", the Miramare Museum is offering 2 tickets for the

tour of the exhibition "Il Bacio, un Capolavoro per l'Italia" by the
Italian artist Franceso Hayez (1791 - 1892) who best represented

EXHIBITIONS
Solo exhibition by the
artist Giovanni Talleri inaugurated on 27
January at the Risiera di San Sabba museum, the only concentration camp
in
Italy. The artist's works are a collection of drawings and paintings
inspired
by his experience as a prisoner in Dachau in 1944-45 with themes that
strongly
affected him. The exhibition is open daily from 9:00 - 19:00 until May,
in Via

"Mila e la
Notte", an exhibition of famous fashion designer Mila Schön who passed away a year ago. The exhibition displays
63 unique high-fashion dresses from the 1960s. The exhibit is open
