SPECIAL CARNIVAL DINNER and MAGIC SHOW AT THE CAFETERIA OF THE LEONARDO BUILDING NEXT THURSDAY 11 FEBRUARY (GIOVEDI' GRASSO) for ICTP visitors, scientists and staff. Logos Caterers has organized a special menu and a Magic show with Valerio Cappellini and the Trieste Magica Magicians who will entertain you for 60  magical minutes! 


MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT

Music at the Auditorium of the Revoltella Museum in via Diaz 27:

1. A musical "Maximilian, Il Principe di Miramare" (Maximilian, Prince of Miramare), music by Umberto Lupi with tenor Andrea Binetti at the Revoltella Museum in via Diaz 27 on Sat 6 Feb at 20:30 and Sunday 7 Feb at 16:30.  For more info see. 2. Free at the Auditorium every Monday in February. This coming Monday 8 at 17:30, a concert dedicated to the repertoire of Italian Futurism with the Mixensemble directed by Paolo Longo with music by Rusolo, Mix and Casavola. Next concerts 15 and 22 Feb.

The Tartini Music Conservatory
in via Ghega offers a series of free concerts every Wednesday night at 20:30. Please be there half an hour before the show as seats are given on a first-come first served basis. Next concert on Wed 10 Jan: A flute and piano Duo with music by Poulenc, Casella, and Prokoviev.

" "L'inverosimile ritratto di Galileo Galilei abozzato sbirciando tra le sue carte, appunti e diari, con l’occhio di Berthold Brecht", a micro-show by and with Virginio Gazzolo followed by a conference "Dialoghi tra Scienza e Musica" with Gianni Zanarini and Franco Rotelli and a piano recital with Letizia Michielon from the Tartini conservatory. ART & EXHIBITIONS

Solo exhibition by the artist Giovanni Talleri inaugurated on 27 January at the Risiera di San Sabba museum, the only concentration camp in Italy. The artist's works are a collection of drawings and paintings inspired by his experience as a prisoner in Dachau in 1944-45 with themes that strongly affected him. The exhibition is open daily from 9:00 - 19:00 until May, in Via Palatucci 5. Bus 10.


"Mila e la Notte", an exhibition of famous fashion designer Mila Schön
who passed away a year ago. The exhibition displays 63 unique high-fashion dresses from the 1960s. The exhibit is open daily from 10:00 - 20:00 at the Salone degli Incanti, Riva Nazario Sauro  (close to Piazza Unità), bus 8. Entrance fee euro 3,00. Ongoing until 18 March. In Gorizia there are 3 interesting futurist art exhibitions ongoing till 28 February.

"Sabato on Wine"
