This
evening,
Thursday 27 November, at 21:00 at the Casa della
Musica (via dei Capitelli in Trieste), there will be a concert by
the Jazz Doctors Quartet who will perform a
selection of traditional jazz pieces, as well as jazz arrangements of
tracks by
Sting, The Chieftains, De André and Pat Metheny.
Friday 28
November at 20:30 at the Knulp (via
Madonna del Mare) musical performance by Luc Orient.
On Friday 28
November at 20:30 at the Music Bar Crispi there will be J& B, a Bon Jovi cover band from
At 21:30 also on Friday at
the
Oblivion Pub in Roiano (via Stock 2/2) the Ligabue
tribute band Campovolo will perform.
EXHIBITIONS
New photographic exhibition in the Sala
Comunale d’Arte (piazza Unita, 4) by Silvia Persi entitled “

presentations by young Chinese artists. Events
are scheduled to start at 18.30 each

Cosulich: una dinastia

FAIRS AND
MARKETS
From Friday 28 November to
Monday 1 December at the Fiera di Trieste (piazzale de Gasperi,
1), there
will be a pre-Christmas Fair, with all sorts of ideas for gifts and
decorations
on offer. Daily from 10:00-20:00. Free
entrance.

Grotta
Gigante –
This year the Grotta Gigante, the
largest tourist cave in the world, is celebrating it’s centenary of
opening to
the public with an exhibition until 31 December in the visitor’s centre
open
10-18 daily except Monday. Visits to the cave itself take place every
hour from 10-16. Take bus 42 from Piazza Oberdan and get off at Borgo
Grotta Sgonico. It takes 5mins on foot, following the signs, to reach
the

San Giusto Castle, take bus nr. 24
from the railway station. Built between
1470 and 1630, the castle rises up from the hill in the heart of the
old city.
