ART EXHIBITIONS

“1848 – 1918”, a retrospective exhibition at the Salone degli Incanti (ex-Pescheria, after Piazza Unità) illustrating the historical period in which Trieste was part of the Austro–Hungarian Empire through a collection of works of art, documents, photographs, prints and various objects of that time.  Bus 8.

CONCERTI NEL CASTELLO (Miramare)

Guided Tour by foot of Trieste’s historical monuments (in Italian and English) at 10:30 and 16:00 on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, Sundays only at 10:30. Carsiana Botanical Gardens in Sgonico 55, guided tour.More than 600 species of plants. You can also book a guided tour in English, German and Slovene by calling 040.229573. Ticket Eur 3,00 (for a group of 7 reduced Eur 2,00). Take buses 42, 44 from Piazza Oberdan, change in Prosecco and take bus 46 to Sgonico.
