ART EXHIBITIONS

Sat 28 June at 20:00: Inauguration of “ART and Basketball” An art exhibition organized by the UNA Academy at the Teatro Verdi in Muggia. 20 huge spheres painted by 20 renown International and Italian artists from Austria, China, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Macedonia, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, presented on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of the Basketball Interclub Association of Muggia. Most of the artists will be present at the opening.  Open until 6 July from 17-20 hrs.

Photography Exhibition at the Miela Theatre: Francesco Penco, one of Trieste’s first and most important photo-reporters of the past century. A collection of photographs of Trieste from 1871 – 1950 from the times of the Austrian domination of the city to the allied military government after the 2nd World War.
