* The Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (**OWSD 
<https://owsd.net/>)***is pleased to invite you to the event 
  “/Sustaining Knowledge During Crises: Gender and Displacement in 
Science/,” taking place on *23–24 April 2026* at the prestigious 
Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei in Rome (Italy), within its mandate to 
support scientific excellency and academic cooperation.

The Conference will gather representatives from research institutions, 
universities, public bodies, and international organizations, providing 
a high-level interdisciplinary forum to address issues that are 
especially relevant today, as global crises, conflicts, and forced 
displacement increasingly threaten the *continuity of scientific 
knowledge and gender equity within research systems*. Please find 
attached the Conference Programme.
