Talk on Abdus Salam for the Centennial

"A Nobel Exile: Abdus Salam's Physics, Faith, and Global Vision"

Lecture on Prof. Abdus Salam by his former associate Prof. Pervez Hoodbhoy

Among various interactions spanning years, Abdus Salam wrote the forward
for Pervez's book Islam and Science: Religious Orthodoxy and the Battle
for Rationality. Through his contact with the professor, Pervez developed
an insight into Salam's life, work and ideas. This lecture will discuss
Salam's legacy in global science.

The event is part of the Salam Centennial series, and organised by the
Pakistan-ICTP Alumni Society and ICTP Global Science Portal, and will be
streamed in the L. Stasi Lecture Theatre.

ICTP Director Atish Dabholkar will give welcome remarks.
