Our next event in the ICTP Associates Seminar Series will be a talk by
regular Associate *Carolina Brito*, from Federal University of Rio Grande
do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil, on the challenges of building a scientific career
in Brazil and work on complex systems in her group.

systems in her group, such as a recent interdisciplinary effort to study
climate-related disasters.
