Abstract:
In the first part of the talk, I will give a brief overview of my
scientific career. I will then discuss the concept of entropy and its
various definitions as they arise in different scientific fields,
including information theory, statistical physics, classical
thermodynamics, and black hole thermodynamics.

ICTP Associates Seminars are part personal, part scientific, with speakers
sharing their career trajectory and experiences, then introducing their
research field and work.
