Dear All,
The *second lecture* of the *ICTP 2026 Salam Distinguished Lecture
series "From Quantum Information to Transformative Technologies—A
Journey of Remarkable Discoveries" *by *Prof. Peter Zoller, *University
of Innsbruck, Austria, will soon start.
The Salam Distinguished Lecture Series is an annual presentation of
talks by renowned, active scientists. The aim is to showcase important
research developments as well as provide a visionary forward view. The
lecture series is generously supported by the Kuwait Foundation for the
Advancement of Sciences (KFAS).
The lectures will take place in the Budinich Lecture Hall, Leonardo
building, as per the following schedule:
Lecture 1 by Prof. Peter Zoller
Tuesday 27 January starting at 15:30
*Lecture 2 by Prof. Peter Zoller*
*Wednesday 28 January starting at 10:30*
Lecture 3 by Prof. Ignacio Cirac
Wednesday 28 January starting at 15:30
Lecture 4 by Prof. Ignacio Cirac
Thursday 29 January starting at 09:00
The lectures will also be livestreamed from the ICTP website.
