New waste collection system

Dear All,

A new waste collection system will be installed in the coming weeks. It 
is aimed at enhancing our recycling practices and reducing the usage of 
plastic bags.

Over the next few weeks, all current bins will be removed from both 
offices and common spaces. In their place, new waste collection areas 
will be installed. These areas are designed to streamline waste 
separation and promote more efficient recycling.

We will start this week with the E. Fermi Building and Galileo Guest 
House. Attached you can find maps showing the locations of the new waste 
collection areas. Maps for other buildings will follow.

_In case you need to dispose of large quantities of a specific type of 
waste (i.e. paper)_, please open a ticket in the Facility Maintenance 
queue using ICTP’s RT system <https://rt.ictp.it/>.

We appreciate your cooperation and support in making this transition 
smooth and successful. Together, we can contribute to a more sustainable 
and environmentally friendly workplace.
