Monday December 8, Italian National Holiday

Please be informed that* on Monday December 8th*, Italy celebrates the 
Feast of the Immaculate Conception, therefore it's a day off for the 
general population and schools and most businesses are closed, including 
Government offices, post offices and banks.

Many shops and supermarkets will be open but public transport services 
will run according to their Sunday schedule.

However *ICTP staff will be regularly on duty*.
