Update on works

_Update on the progress of the extra-ordinary maintenance works on the 
campus_

Recently, the works to install a solar energy system on the roof of the 
Galileo Building have been finalized. The system is operational.

The works to substitute the distribution pipes at the base level of the 
Leonardo Building have been finalized. The distribution system is used 
for the heating and cooling of the building. These works are part of the 
larger renovation project of the Leonardo Building and will be used for 
the new fan-coils in the offices and air exchange systems in the common 
spaces.

The renovation of the Euler room and 4 lecture rooms are proceeding. It 
is planned to have the area ready for the opening ceremony mid November. 
The audio/video facilities will be finalized after the event and the 
lecture rooms will be released for common usage at the beginning of the 
upcoming year. In the meanwhile, the lectures for the Diploma Students 
will proceed to be provided in the Galileo Building.

Preparations and planning of the next works at the Leonardo Building are 
ongoing and will probably start in the second quarter of 2025. Further 
details will be communicated in the first quarter 2025.
