Dear all,

We are pleased to invite you to *Future Visions On Science 
Communication*, a series of events organized by SISSA to explore the 
challenges and future of specialist publishing and journalism. 
International professionals will gather to discuss issues such as the 
crisis in scientific publications, the potential of satellite 
journalism, and the economic sustainability of the information world.

*November 27, 2024, 10:30 a.m., Room 128-129, SISSA - The Crisis of 
Scientific Publications: Highlights and Shadows*

With Luca De Fiore (Il Pensiero Scientifico Editore), Elisa De Ranieri 
(Editor of Newton), and cosmologist Licia Verde.

Introduction by Andrea Romanino (SISSA Director). Moderated by Letizia 
Gabaglio.

*December 3, 2024, 10:30 a.m., Room 5, SISSA - From Space to Story: The 
Power of Satellite Journalism*

With Michael Anthony (Vertical 52) and data journalist Elisabetta Tola.

*December 10, 2024, 10:30 a.m., Room 128-129, SISSA - Journalism and 
Economic Sustainability: Stories of Innovation and Commitment*

With Leighton Kille (The Conversation France), Cristina Tagliabue (Il 
Sole 24 Ore), and Holger Wormer (TU Dortmund University).

Moderated by Valerio Bressan.

The events are free, open to the public, and do not require 
registration. Additionally, attending these events will provide credits 
for the Italian Journalists’ Association.
