ICTP celebrates the 2024 International Day of Women and Girls in Science

Dear All,

You are most welcome to attend the event that ICTP is organising in 
partnership with Trieste's science institutes on*February 6 *from *5pm 
to 7pm *at*Antico Caffè San Marco*,to celebrate the 2024 International 
Day of Women and Girls in Science.

The event, which is open to everyone, is an opportunity for the general 
public to come and meet some of the many women researchers who work in 
the institutions of the Trieste Science System. With backgrounds that 
span across many different fields of science, they will engage in 
one-to-one or small group informal conversations with the participants 
in the casual atmosphere of Caffè San Marco, to share their experience 
in science and talk about what they do. The researchers will be sitting 
at different tables and participants will be invited to have a chat with 
all of them, moving from one table to the next at the ring of a bell.

Agnese Bissi (HECAP), Erika Coppola (ESP), Asja Jelic (CMSP) and Rita 
Nogherotto (ESP) are the women researchers that will represent ICTP. 
Erika Coppola will moderate the event.
