*TWAS AWARDS WEBINAR SERIES*

*The World Academy of Sciences* (TWAS) is pleased to invite you to the 
*second event* of its "Awards Webinar Series," *on 14 July*, *at 1 
p.m*., Rome time, online.

The Series gives an opportunity to TWAS Award winners to deliver brief 
presentations on their accomplishments. A question-and-answer session 
takes place after each presentation, allowing online participants to ask 
their questions.

*Tomorrow's webinar will focus on chemistry* and will feature:

- Engin AKKAYA of Türkiye, Co-winner of the 2022 TWAS Award in Chemistry

- Zubair HASAN of Bangladesh, Winner of the 2021 TWAS-Atta-ur-Rahman 
Award in Chemistry

- Nigist ASFAW of Ethiopia, Winner of the 2021 TWAS-Samira Omar 
Innovation for Sustainability Award

- Meththika VITHANAGE of Sri Lanka, Winner of the 2020 TWAS-Fayzah M. 
Al-Kharafi Award
