Invitation to the ceremony UN75: 2020 and Beyond. Shaping Our Future Together

The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is 
pleased to invite you to a ceremony to celebrate the 75th anniversary of 
the UN, */“UN75: 2020 and Beyond. /**/Shaping Our Future 
Together”/**.*You can find the programme of the ceremony attached.


The event, which is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and 
International Cooperation in collaboration with SIOI - Italian Society 
for the International Organization, will be held via videoconference 
today, 22 October, starting from 5.15 pm to approximately 6.00 pm. It 
will be chaired by the Deputy Minister of Affairs Foreign Affairs and 
International Cooperation, Marina Sereni, with the participation of the 
President of SIOI, Franco Frattini. A greeting from the Minister of 
Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Luigi Di Maio, will 
also be provided via pre-recorded video.


ICTP Director Atish Dabholkar is among the leaders of Italian-based UN 
Agencies, Funds and Programmes who will also participate in the event, 
via pre-recorded greetings.


The ceremony will close with the reading of a message from the President 
of the Republic of Italy, Sergio Mattarella.
