Joining events held worldwide for the International Open Access Week
2019 (21-25 October), the Marie Curie Library is pleased to host a talk
by the founder of SciPost: Jean-Sebastien Caux.
SciPost, born in 2016, is run by and for scientists, a nonprofit
initiative aiming to build fully open access infrastructure to replace
the scientific publishing industry. Its journals are characterized by
being open access for both readers (no subscription or reading fees) as
well as authors (no author fees/APCs), giving generous licenses (CC-BY)
with copyright to the authors. Currently covering experimental,
theoretical, and computational physics, SciPost will soon be expanding
to other subjects.
Founder Jean-Sebastien Caux will discuss the platform, its advantages,
and its future.

All are invited to attend.

The event is co-organized by Asja Jelic and the Marie Curie Library.
