*_ICTP SOCIAL EVENT FOR ALL OUR VISITORS, SCIENTISTS AND STAFF!_*

*Latin American music and ***rhythms *with Cubanamà Orchestra at the 
Leonardo Building Terrace on Thursday 13 June 2019 from 19:30 to 23:00 hrs!
*

The Cubanamá latin ORCHESTRA features musicians coming from Chile, Cuba, 
Italy, Slovenia, Tunisia, and Venezuela. The band performs a selection 
of salsa standards from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela and New 
York, as well as original compositions and instrumental improvisations. 
In addition to a long experience in Afro-Cuban music, the musicians have 
different backgrounds, including pop, jazz and classical music. All 
musicians have taken part in international tours, radio/TV shows and 
recordings sessions. Half of the band comes from the legendary "Ocho 
Rios Orchestra", one of the very first Salsa and Latin-jazz bands in Italy.*

A special buffet dinner will be served at the Leonardo Cafeteria 
starting at 19:30 and payable with two half-meal coupons or by cash - 
Euros 10.

Live "Salsa" music and dance will follow!
