*Closing ceremony ESOF 2018: Live streaming from Toulouse at Trieste

The closing ceremony of the European City of Science (ESOF) 2018 events 
held in Toulouse, France will mark the start of the 2020 celebrations, 
which Trieste will be honored to host. During the closing ceremony on 
Saturday, 14 July, the official title of European City of Science will 
be handed over to Trieste in the run up to 2020, and a delegation from 
Trieste is in France to present the city to the larger European community.

You can watch the livestream video of the occasion in Italian on the 
Comune of Trieste's Facebook page, and also in the Trieste Citta' della 
Conoscenza space in the Trieste Centrale Train Station, free and open to 
all.

Several Trieste dignitaries will be on hand to speak, including *Roberto 
Dipiazza*, the mayor of Trieste, *Massimiliano Fedriga*, the President 
of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, and *Stefano Fantoni*, the 
president of Fondazione Internationale Trieste, the organization 
spearheading Trieste ESOF2020 organization. *Maurizio Fermeglia*, the 
Rector of the Università degli Studi di Trieste, *Rodica Toader* 
representing the Università degli Studi di Udine, and *Alessandra 
Palumbo* from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will also be 
speaking about ESOF2020 in Trieste.

The live streaming will start at 15:00 with the initial phases of the 
closing ceremony while the presentation of Trieste will start at about
