ICTP Table Tennis Tournament 2017 - Final Day

Dear colleagues and friends,

You might have noticed that this week’s evenings have seen quite a few 
exciting table tennis games in the framework of the ongoing second ICTP 
Table Tennis Tournament (ITTT²). Today is the final day of the event and 
it promises to be the most spectacular one. We cordially invite all of 
you to come and cheer for your colleagues and friends who shall be 
competing for their personal glory and the honour of their/your 
sections. The tentative schedule is as follows:

16:30 - 17:20 The first round of the sections cup
17:20 - 18:00 Singles semifinals
18:00 - 18:40 Doubles semifinals
18:40 - 20:00 Finals in all categories

Following the last game of the finals there shall be a prize ceremony.

We are thus very much looking forward to your joining us tonight to 
enjoy some dynamic and suspenseful table tennis!

Important notice! This is the last call for the sections that have not 
yet done so (QLS, AP, NRA) to put forward their teams for the section 
cup today. A team shall consist of at least three (ideally four) 
players. If possible it shall comprise a PhD/Diploma student(s), a 
postdoc and a senior member/secretary/consultant. The nominations have 
to be communicated to the organisers no later than 3pm today.
