Opening ceremony of the Latin American Film Festival at the ICTP on Saturday 22 October at 19:30

*You are all most cordially invited to the Opening Ceremony of the Latin 
American Film Festival which will be held at the ICTP on Saturday 22 
October, in Budinich Lecture Hall, starting at 19:30.*

For security reasons, ICTP visitors, scientists and staff who wish to 
attend should kindly show their ICTP badge at the entrance of the 
Leonardo Building.

The ceremony is not open to the general public but those who are not 
from ICTP and wish to attend should register and write to the organizers

20:00 Salvador Allende Award ceremony. This year's prize is awarded to 
Roberto Savio by the Ambassador of Chile, H.E Fernando Ayala.

20:30 Film projection: */"Birrilata, una vuelta en tren", by Lorena 
Yenni,/*/(2015, Argentina 64mm)/a tributeto Fernando Birri, founder of 
the New Argentinian Cinema, president of the Festival since 1995 and 
film director. Fernando Birri is Argentinian but originally Italian from 
the Friuli Region close to Trieste. He now lives in Rome.
