REMINDER: Silent Auction

Dear All,


ICTP has produced very nice and unique shopping bags out of our 
10-meter-long 50th Anniversary banner.They were made atLister Sartoria 
Sociale here in Trieste.They managed to produce 24 shopping bags plus 35 
smaller bags. From 4 to 6 May, ICTP staff and friends will have the 
opportunity to acquire these through a silent auction and raffle, the 
proceeds of which will go to the Fund for Hunger.


Silent Auction:

The large bags will be on display in the showcases at the entrance ofthe 
ICTP Shop (behind InfoPoint); each bag will have a number.Bidding sheets 
for each bag will be placed near the display case, where bidders will be 
able to write their names, contact details and bid amounts.Bidders can 
always raise their bid if desired.


Raffle:

The smaller bags will be raffled at 5 euros a ticket; these tickets can 
be purchased at Infopoint from 4 to 6 May.


Announcement of winners:

The winning bidders of the Silent Auction as well as the drawing of the 
raffle tickets will be announced on Monday 9 May at 12:30 in the LB 
cafeteria, after which the winners of the large bags can make their 
payments and collect their items, while the winning tickets will be 
drawn for the smaller bags. Winners who cannot be present on Monday can 
pick up their prizes at InfoPoint.
