*Nuclear Security Summit -- Amsterdam*

Due to the 'Nuclear Security Summit' taking place at The Hagueuntil
Friday 28th March 2014, the Dutch Authorities have introduced risk based
border control on selected Schengen flights into The Netherlands.
Passengers may be asked to show a valid identity document or passport
and a valid visa or other residence permit. *We would also like to
advise all passengers travelling to and From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport
to allow extra* *time to travel to and from the airport* as the airport
accessibility by road during the Nuclear Security Summit could be
congested , especially during peak hours.
The roads and exits of the A4 motorway to/from the airport will remain
accessible however, do expect to see traffic congestion due to the
complete/partial closure of main roads and motorways to and from The
Hague. The (partial) road closures will take effect in the afternoon of
Sunday 23 March. Road users should expect closures on the main roads
until the early morning of Wednesday 26 March 2014. If any passengers
are travelling via the train the Dutch Railways (NS) will be deploying
longer trains between Amsterdam and Rotterdam during rush hour on 24 and
25 March 2014. For other information on the security and traffic related
measures please refer to the website of the Nuclear Security
Summit,www.nss2014.com <http://www.nss2014.com/>.
