*Trieste Mini Maker Faire: ICTP, Saturday 17 May 2014*

As you know, this year ICTP celebrates its first 50 years. To bolster such an important milestone, the Science Dissemination Unit (SDU) is organizing the first Trieste Mini Maker Faire, in collaboration with Maker Media Inc. and the Immaginario Scientifico Science Centre. The Faire will be held on Saturday, 17 May 2014 on ICTP's Campus. It will bring together and uncover makers, inventors, scientists, crafters, artists and all other passionate creative enthusiasts from the region.  Special attention will be given to ideas and projects of educational interest and aimed at developing countries.  For details see

I would like to invite all ICTP Staff members and visiting Scientists to collaborate with SDU for the success of this unique open social event. This will be a good opportunity to make our ICTP known to a larger community.
