2 FREE GUIDED TOURS by FAI - Italian Environmental Fund - ON 23 AND 24 MARCH

SATURDAY 23 March 2013 AT 11 A.M.:
Free Guided tour in English  to the Hydraulic Power station at 11 am. in
Punto Franco Vecchio Trieste, minimum 10 persons.
This weekend there will be a major event which will give all those
interested the opportunity of visiting the Hydraulic Power station with a
guide. The Power station, which has been recently renovated, provides a
brief view of Trieste's history during the last century of the Hasburgic
domination. It was built in 1890 and equipped with the best tecnology
available in the world to provide hydraulic power to the docks.
It is situated inside the walls of the Old Port of Trieste (Porto Franco
Vecchio), right next to Magazzino 26.


SUNDAY 24 March 2013, 11 am -Free Guided tour in English  to the Railway
museum at 11 am. in Campo Marzio (at the end of the downtown sea front)
minimum 10 persons.
It is dedicated to the history of the railways of this Region. It contains
an exhibit of some historical locomotives and documents on the history of
rail transportation in Europe.

The only contribution required by the FAI Association is a DONATION OF
EURO 2/PERSON/VISIT  which will be used towards improving our
environment.
