at the Giambiagi Lecture Hall, ICTP Adriatico Guest House, Lower Level 1
on Monday, *17 June 2013, 15:00–16:30* hours

Science is driving rapid cultural change. Politics are pervasive in 
society, even colouring scientific research. And diplomacy – between 
nations, cultures, and publics – influences politics and 
decision-making. With the world facing grave threats and great 
opportunities, can science, politics and diplomacy work together 
constructively? We need a new paradigm of thought and action involving 
as many actors as possible – global organizations and sovereign states, 
academies and universities, NGOs and others.
