The Science Dissemination Unit (SDU) will inaugurate its new
"3D Printing Lab for Science, Education and Sustainable Development"

      Lab's Open House: 13 - 17 hr

ICTP's 3D Printing Lab aims to be an open place for creativity and
to highlight new 3D printing technologies as well as presentations of
ongoing research into new applications. New, low-cost, three-dimensional
printing technologies using digital models to build or replicate solid
objects are providing exciting opportunities for research, education and
humanitarian projects for the developing world.

During the lab's Open House, visitors will be able to see and touch 3D
printed objects and learn how the printers work.
