Venerdì 9 novembre 2012 al Museo di Storia Naturale di Trieste, via dei
Tominz 4, nell'ambito della serie "La scienza racconta: incontro con i
protagonisti della ricerca e dell'innovazione", avrà luogo un incontro
pubblico con EDWARD MAYER, uno dei più grandi esperti mondiali nella
cura e tutela di rondini e rondoni.

La presenza del dr. Mayer sarà possibile grazie alla collaborazione con
l'Associazione
"LIBERI DI VOLARE" che nell'occasione presenterà i risultati del suo
primo anno di attività
dedito alla gestione cura e riabilitazione di rondini e rondoni che
giungono a Trieste da
tutta Italia e non solo.

Si comunica inoltre che l'ORARIO DI APERTURA del Museo Civico di Storia
Naturale di Trieste,via dei Tominz 4, seppure ancora in allestimento,
sarà ampliato anche al sabato mattina dalle ore 9 alle 14.
L'Amministrazione Comunale ha ritenuto di venire incontro alle tante
famiglie e ai turisti che ne richiedevano un'apertura nel
fine-settimana.


Extraordinary event, Museum of Natural History of Trieste, Friday,
November 9th, 2012, public conference held by the ornithologist and
architect EDWARD MAYER (GB)

Friday, November 9th, 2012 at the Museum of Natural History of Trieste,
via dei Tominz 4 within the cycle "Science tales: meet the heroes of
research and innovation", there will be a public conference held by
EDWARD MAYER, one of the most important world experts in conservation of
swallows and swifts.

The presence of Dr. Mayer is made possible thanks to the cooperation of
the Association "FREE TO FLY" that will present the results of its first
year of activity dedicated to the care, rehabilitation and supervision
of swallows and swifts arriving in Trieste from Italy and not only.

The OPENING TIME of the Museum of Natural History, via dei Tominz 4,
although still under construction, will be extended to Saturday morning
from 9 am to 2 pm. The municipal government has therefore decided to
meet the request coming from families and tourists of an opening time
during the weekend.
