ICTP IS A SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT: SMOKER ETIQUETTE at ICTP

Dear All,

Please recall that the ICTP is a smoke-free environment and smoking is
prohibited on our premises.
Smoking is allowed only outside the buildings an
d on the terraces; please make use of the available cigarette dispensers.
In the Fermi building, smoking is allowed in the dedicated smoking room on
the 2nd floor.

Smoking in your office is prohibited, even if you have the
window wide open and the door shut, as smoke seeps through the doors and
pollutes the surrounding areas.

All smokers are therefore requested to refrain from smoking in their
offices or in other smoke-free areas because this
has negative repercussions on the community.

We trust in your kind consideration and respect for our smoke-free
environment.
