Safety at ICTP starting from the Leonardo building

Dear All,

Italian legislation requires that each employer has an authorized
responsible for that safety requirements are observed and that each year
all buildings are checked for risks and that risks found are presented
in a list to the head of the organization or company, together with
actions required.

The Director has engaged a consultant to fulfill this responsibility,
appointing  Mr. Elio Flego as ICTP's R.S.P.P (Responsabile del Servizio
Prevenzione e Protezione dei Rischi).  Mr. Flego is working from the
Technical Office under the supervision of  Erich Jost. He reports directly
to the Director with regard to safety and risk issues.

In the coming weeks, Mr. Flego will need to go through each room in the
Leonardo Building in order to evaluate and map eventual risks and also
prepare  for the planned technical safety clearance of the building by the
relevant local authorities.

All staff at the Leonardo Building are hereby informed about
this and kindly invited to collaborate with Mr. Flego when he will be
performing these tasks.
