AQUILEIA and GRADO*

AQUILEIA* is one of the most interesting sites in the Region, an ancient 
marshland settlement, with a 700-year Roman period dating back to 181 
B.C. There are old Roman mosaics in the basilica and old Roman ruins 
spread out in a lovely landscape. *The next stop will be in GRADO*, a 
small town built on a lagoon with many historical connections with 
Venice and Aquileia*.

The discounted contribution requested for the tour is only 5,00 euro 
/head - payable when you sign up

**MEETING POINT with our English-speaking guide **at 9:00 in Grignano 
near bus stop 36 by the sea. Return time to Trieste is fixed at 
approximately 14:30.*

Sign up at the Info Point, Leonardo Building (8:30 - 16:48). Places are 
limited on the bus and will be assigned on a first-come first-served 
basis.**

For those who wish to spend some more tine in Grado,  there is a public 
bus (APT E21) departing at 18:35 and arriving in Grignano at 19:45 and 
Trieste at 20:00. (euro 4,75). *
