*AQUILEIA* is one of the most interesting sites in the Region, an 
ancient marshland settlement, with a 700-year Roman period dating back 
to 181 B.C. There are old Roman mosaics in the basilica and old Roman 
ruins spread out in a lovely landscape. *The next stop will be in 
GRADO*, a small town built on a lagoon with many historical connections 
with Venice and Aquileia*.

The discounted contribution requested for the tour is only 5,00 euro 
/head - payable when you sign up at the Info Point, Leonardo Building.*

**MEETING POINTat 13:45 with our English-speaking guide in Grignano (Bus 
36 Stop) and return time to Trieste is fixed at approximately 20:00.*
