*SPECIAL EVENT: "LA BARCOLANA" 4 October – 12 October*

*The most famous sailing regatta in the Mediterranean Sea! It will take 
place in the Gulf of Trieste next week on Sunday 12 October, at 10:00. 
In the meantime, there will be a number of regattas before this event: 
"La Barcolina" on 4 and 5 October for children under 18. There will also 
be a number of side events, musical entertainment, kiosks and stands on 
the “rive”, sea promenade in front of Piazza Unità, offering different

*‘SAGRE’ – COUNTRY FESTIVALS*

*All weekend in MEDEAZZA *(a village in the Carso hills after Duino), 
there will be a festival combining culture, local traditions and sport. 
The local ‘osmizze’ (farmhouses selling their home-produced wines and 
hams) will be open and there will be horse-riding, live music, 
photographic exhibitions and other entertainment.
