*Cantine Aperte (Open day wine cellars) *on 24 and 25 May, a major wine 
event in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. 

A special* Wine Bus Tour will be *departing on Sun 25 from Piazza 
Oberdan at 9:30 with stops in *Gorizia*, *Udine* and *Pordenone* to 
visit the wine cellars. Book your seat in advance, deadline on Fri 23

*Purses and Handbags in the Castle*. More than 200 rare and precious 
unique pieces of the past three centuries from all over the world,

*Guided Tour* "*On Joyce's footsteps*", an interesting way to learn 
about James Joyce's life in Trieste, the houses he lived in, the places

*Panoramic Train Tour *on *Sun 25: *Visit the surroundings of Trieste on 
this historic train. Morning tour departure from Campo Marzio Train 
station (take bus 8) at 9:55 (2 hours) The train will take you and stop 
at Villa Opicina, Aurisina, Miramare and final stop at Central Train 
Station. Afternoon tour dep. at 14:40 from Central Train station reverse 
trip. One way ticket costs Eur 16,00 (children 7-12 age Eur10,00 - under

*Adriatic Festival *a series of concerts organized by the Associazione 
Musica Senza Frontiere whose goal is the cohesion of cultures and 
peoples through music. Opening concert at the* Ridotto del Verdi* on 
Thurs 22 with a classical music duo: Slovene violoncello musician Milos 
Mlejnik and Austrian pianist Erwin Kropfitsch and  on Sun 25 in the main 
square of Sgonico "Kakanic Blues with Mike Sponza (voice and guitar) and 
the Central European Blues Convention ( five musicians of different 
nationalities).

*Piano concert* at the SS. Eufemia and Tecla Church in Grignano on Sat 
23 at 20:30, pianist Daniel Rivera.

*Galleria Musicale*, a series of concerts at the* Lutheran Church* in 
Largo Panfili (behind the central post office), organized by the Coo 
dell'Università di Trieste and the Associazione Vox Nova Tergeste.

*On Sat 24* at 20:30 the *Coro Polifonico di Ruda* directed by Fabiana 
Noro, music by Rossini, Schubert, Saint-Saens, Poulenc.

On *Sun 25* at 20:30 the tenor *Maté Gal* and the *Coro** 
dell'Università degli Studi di Trieste* directed by Riccardo Cossi, 
music by Beethoven, Schubert and Levi.
