New: Modern Art Museum Ugo Carà, Muggia: 29 Feb - 28 March  "Cimiteri

"Gloria Mundi" a painting exhibition by the artist Laura Ziari at

Last days for  "VORREI SAPERE PERCHE'. A retrospective on Ettore 
Sottsass' design masterpieces,
photos and personal thoughts. At the Salone degli Incanti (former Fish

FREE  GUIDED TOURS:
Trieste: with an expert guide only Sunday 2 March (in Italian)
An expert guide will take you around the city's palazzos and visit 
historical coffee bars, with anecdotes about the city's history and 
literature. Organized by the Province of Trieste. Meeting point in 
front of Piazza Unità's fountain at 15:00.

Udine:The Tiepolo Gallery, only  Sat 1 March (in  at 17:30, at the 
Palazzo Patriarcale in Piazza del Patriarcato 1, followed at 19:00 by 
wine tasting and a buffet with typical specialties at the Cafe

MUSIC - CONCERTS - THEATRE
THE CONSERVATORIO TARTINI (Trieste's Music Academy) has a series of 
free concerts until May. On Mondays and Wednesdays at 20:30. Please 
call the Conservatorio (situated in Via Ghega, close to Piazza Oberdan)

FREE CONCERT organized by the Association for Cooperation between Italy

WINE FESTIVAL in Bertiolo, Udine: opening ceremony on Sat 1 March at 
18:00 until 16 March. Kiosks with food specialties from the Friuli 
Region and wine tasting from the cellars of the Friuli doc wines.
