*FRIDAY 15  AUGUST-  "FERRAGOSTO"- NATIONAL HOLIDAY*

We wish to inform you that Friday, 15 August  is an Italian national 
holiday.

Most shops and supermarkets will be closed.


Buses and public transportation (city and airport buses)  will be 
running according to their Sunday schedules ("festivo")

 ICTP offices  and other services will be open and running regularly ( 
Library, Cafeterias, Bar, Medical Service, Travel Agency)

* However, the  Bank at ICTP will close at 11.00 a.m. on Thursday 14 
August and will be closed all day on 15 August.*
