New Library Software

T0: ALL SCIENTISTS AND STAFF

Please be informed that a new Library interface to search the "book
collection" is available through the Library homepage starting today.

It follows the recent installation of a new integrated library system -
ALEPH 500. The migration of data has been completed and customization is
underway.

At the moment, and for testing purposes, only the "basic search" option
is available; other search features will follow. A link to the old
system will be kept for a brief period of time, but information will no
longer be updated

As regards the "journal collection", the old interface is still in use;
the new one is foreseen to be released shortly.

The Library staff invites all scientists to use the new system and send
comments to the library, or contact Ms Fasanella, MB rm.134.
