AQUILEIA TRIP ON SATURDAY 21st JULY

On Saturday 21st July  at 9 a.m we have booked a special guided tour by
coach only for ICTP visitors and families to AQUILEIA (about 45 km.
from Trieste) with an English-speaking guide. It's one of the most
interesting sites in this area, an ancient marshland settlement, with a
700-year Roman period dating back to 181 B.C. There are old Roman
mosaics in the basilica and old Roman ruins spread out in a lovely
landscape.
The discounted contribution requested for the tour is only 4 euro /head
payable when you sign up, with an extra 2.50 euro/head entrance for the
optional visit of the crypt on the day of the trip.

Come to the Info Point, MB, and sign up as soon as possible
as it is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Don't miss it, it's well worth seeing !
