Bus Strike

A national bus strike has been called for tomorrow, Friday 15 December 
2006.

The latest information available is that local bus services could be 
affected as follows:

The APT (blue airport buses) may not be running at all.  The latest 
information on the website informs that even the usual services 
guaranteed during strike action could be suspended.  More information 
from the helpline: 800-955957.

Local Trieste Trasporti buses (eg. number 36) could be disrupted from 
9:00-13:00 and from 16:00-0:00.  Helpline: 800-016675.

As is always the case, last minute meetings could lead to the strikes 
being called off.  Please check before you start your journey.

Al-Italia

Alitalia staff have called for a strike tomorrow, Friday 15 December 
2006.
